Martin P19 Solid Punch, 1/2 in Tip, 6 in OAL

Solid punches are drop forged, heat treated, quenched and tempered carbon steel construction. Available in 3/32 in, 1/8 in, 3/16 in, 1/4 in and 5/16 in point sizes. These are general purpose hand tools with a sharp tapered point designed for starting holes in metal or other material softer than itself when struck with a hammer. The solid punch is generally used as a starting punch for the initial loosening of frozen pins, keys, etc.
