For coarse grit blending, deburring, beveling and stock removal, choose a Red Heat® R983 coarse grit center mount fiberglass conical flap disc for use with your right angle grinder. Its angled Y-weight polyester flaps provide excellent surface contact, grain retention and fray-resistance and the fiberglass and resin backing plates absorb vibration well, resulting in operator comfort. This flap disc uses a premium ceramic alumina abrasive blending grinding aid that outlasts aluminum oxide and zirconia flap discs in most applications, cutting faster and reducing heat on hard to grind materials.
