Cast iron bearings are used as support bearings for drive and screw conveyor shafts. While compatible with a 220, 226, 326 and 30 style hangers, it requires a hardened shaft. This style bearing can withstand temperatures up to 550° F, but can be noisy and may require lubrication in some applications. It is recommended for lime, cement, salt and gypsum applications.
