Crouse-Hinds series CID 101 vapor phase corrosion inhibitor devices are utilized during use, storage and shipment of products to provide long-term protection against airborne corrosion from salt spray and excessive humidity condensation. CID 101s provide corrosion protection for ferrous and non-ferrous metals including steel, copper, aluminum, brass, solder, silver and more. CID 101 corrosion inhibitors are placed in the interiors of conduit outlet bodies and boxes, junction boxes, panelboards and enclosures at petroleum refineries, chemical and petrochemical plants, food processing plants and various other process industry facilities where airborne corrosion presents problems.
