3M™ Ambient Air Pump 8050501 utilizes a rotary vane compressor driven by a 3/4 hp motor and operates on a standard 115 V, 15 A electrical supply. Low pressure respirators typically require 4 to 10 psi. 3M™ Ambient Air Pump 8050501 is a low pressure pump and includes a sound reducing chamber, pressure gauge and an adjustable pressure relief valve. It can be used to deliver air - similar to high pressure - to the worker. It is an economical solution to certain situations when supplied air respiratory protection is needed.
