NMT Standard Gas Spring - Plastic End Fitting

A Gas Spring is an energy-storage devise with a similar function to a mechanical coil spring. A gas spring applies a controlled force to support lids, doors, etc that require assistance swinging up and opening. Primarily used to assist the opening of cover, a lid, or a hatch back of a car. End fittings are available in either Nylon plastic or zinc plated steel. Mounting Suggestion: Mount the gas spring rod down. Operating Temperature range -22 to +176 F. Length measured from the center of the end fitting to the center of the other end fitting.
